I am a Licensed, Certified Oncology Massage Therapist in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. I trained in the United States Of America in the state of New Jersey, with a base of 900 hours of schooling. I obtained my license in 2014 through The Institute for Therapeutic Massage, one of the state's premier schools. 

 

My Oncology Internship was done at Holy Name Hospital, where I trained in the outpatient Infusion and Radiation departments. I have also trained in the dialysis department as well as inpatients.

 

After graduating from Massage School as a Certified Oncology Massage Therapist, I started to work for a Corporate Massage Company and gained several years of invaluable experience. I was then offered employment as a contractor to Atlantic Health System with their Integrated Medicine Services Department.  This was a dream come true as my passion has always been to aid the healing journey to health.

 

Here I gained over 3000 hours working in various departments from The Carol Simon Outpatient Department to Inpatient Departments including Oncology, Cardiology, CCU, CVICU and CPACU, Neuro Science, pre and post-surgery, Mother Baby , Trauma and Surgical Step Down as well as the Emergency Room.

 

I have studied with the Upledger Institute and the Barral Institute gaining qualifications in CranioSacral Therapy and Visceral Manipulation. I have also studied with Carol Osborne, getting Certified in Pre and Post Natal Massage. I then went on to train with Joy Dua in Infant Massage Therapy and Technique and Teach Infant Massage. Recently I went to Vegas to study with Sally Spurgeon to become certified in Breast Massage - The Spurgeon Method.™

 

I am a Usui Reiki Master Teacher  as well as a Level-1 Certified Qigong Instructor with Supreme Science Qigong Center. I have also studied North American Energy Medicine with Lewis Mehl-Madrona and Barbara Mainguy. I am also a practitioner of vibration Healing using Biosonic Tuning Forks and trained with John Beaulieu. I have also trained with the Maori Healers from New Zealand and the Wisdom Keepers of Peru, The Rainbow Lineage with Puma Quispe Singona and the The Noqan Kani Global Community Center

 

In 2020 I studied and completed the Jin Shin Jyutsu Professional Practitioner Course through the JSJ International Institute. Jin Shin Jyutsu (JSJ) is a gentle form of acupressure therapy that uses light finger pressure over specific points on the body while fully clothed. JSJ restores the flow of energy, which may be blocked due to illness or pain.

 

I am continuously taking courses and certifications to keep myself at the cutting edge of Integrative Medicine and Massage Therapy.
