MEET YOUR GUIDE
Claudette Currie Latré
Founder, CodedHealing® · Clinician · Educator in the Science of Sound
A licensed clinician and a lifelong student of sound — here to teach what the evidence actually shows, and to make complex ideas clear enough to use.
MY STORY
From the treatment room to the
classroom
For over a decade, my work happened with my hands. I trained in the United States, earned my license in therapeutic massage, and spent thousands of hours inside hospitals — alongside oncology, cardiology, neuroscience and trauma teams — learning what it means to support a body through its hardest moments. That work taught me presence, precision, and a deep respect for evidence.
Somewhere along the way, sound found me. What began as curiosity — a pair of tuning forks, and a question about why they seemed to change how people felt — became years of study into how vibration and frequency interact with the body. I trained in the BioSonics® method with Dr. John Beaulieu, whose research first connected sound to nitric oxide, and I kept following the science wherever it led.
Now I'm entering a new chapter: less hands-on work, more teaching. CodedHealing is where those two worlds meet — clinical rigour and a lifelong fascination with sound — and where I get to do what I love most: make complex ideas clear, and hand people the understanding to use them.

WHERE THE SOUND WORK COMES FROM
Studied at the source
My sound education is rooted in the BioSonics® method of Dr. John Beaulieu — a pioneer of the research linking tuning-fork vibration to nitric oxide. Dr. Beaulieu has reviewed and approved the curriculum I teach.
Beyond that, I've followed my curiosity to teachers and wisdom-keepers across several traditions — always holding what I learn up to the light of evidence, and keeping story and science clearly apart. Curiosity opens the door; rigour is what makes it worth teaching.
WHAT I BELIEVE
Curiosity is the beginning of understanding.
I believe people deserve more than techniques — they deserve to understand why something works. I teach evidence-informed, I never overpromise, and I'm honest about what we know and what we're still exploring. My aim is simple: to help you unlock your body's innate capacity for balance, with knowledge you can actually trust and use.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Alongside CodedHealing, I'm developing Kaapsehoop — a heritage and transformational destination in South Africa. It grows from the same intention: to build something lasting, to keep learning, and to create places where people can slow down, reconnect, and pay attention.
This chapter is about teaching more and doing less hands-on work — sharing what I've spent a career learning, so it outlives the treatment room.
